To prepare the orange and chocolate cake, first grate the orange peel 1, from the same, with the help of a citrus juicer, extract the juice 2 and pour it on the grated peel 3.

In a mixer, put the candied orange 4, add the freshly prepared juice 5 and blend until you get a semi-liquid concentrated paste 6. For convenience, you can insert the candied orange in cubes.

In a bowl, crack the eggs, add the sugar and work, with an electric mixer, for a few minutes 7. Continue to work with the mixer and add a little at a time the flour and baking powder 8, previously sieved, alternating them with the seed oil 9.

Then add the orange paste 10 and work for a few more minutes until it is well incorporated. Quickly chop the chocolate chips in the mixer and add them to the dough 11. Mix with a spatula 12.

Pour everything into a 20 cm diameter hinged mold, previously buttered and floured 13. Bake in a preheated static oven at 170°C for 45 minutes. Do the toothpick test to check the cooking.
