    To prepare the potato, cheese, and ham terrines, first boil the potatoes in salted boiling water 1. When they are soft, mash them with a potato masher 2 in a large bowl, then add the cream 3.

    Cut the Emmentaler into thin slices 10. Butter 4 ramekins with a capacity of 170 ml, with a diameter of 8 cm and a height of 5 cm 11. Fill them halfway with the potato mixture and level the surface. Put 3 slices of cheese for each terrine 12.

    Continue with a slice of cooked ham 13, another 3 slices of Emmentaler 14 and cover with a layer of the potato mixture 15.

    Sprinkle the surface with parmesan 16 and complete with a few thyme leaves 17. Bake in a preheated static oven at 180°C for 25 minutes or until the mixture is well cooked and the surface is golden. Remove from the oven and let it cool.
